Yoga Nidra & Gong Bath
Last month I partnered with a good old friend, to run a Yoga Nidra and Gong Bath workshop.
It was so well received that we have decide to run one each month throughout 2020.
We are already more than half way booked and I suspect come the spring we may have to seek out a bigger premises to share this marriage of Yoga Nidra and Gong Bath.
If you do not know what Yoga Nidra is or means. Yoga means (yoke) Nidra means (sleep). The practice is a guidance of the participant through the body with awakened awareness, whilst the body is a completely relaxed in savasana position (the corpse pose). Through this altered state we can lay the intention for change.
This has a profound affect of the brain waves and we can get complete relaxation and rest through this practice.
The beauty of marrying it with the Gong Bath or Sound Bath, is to create and activate going deeper in our cells, with this vibrational practice. From that relaxed state and helping the body to find balance and ease. You are bathed in a cacophony of sound, no clothes are removed in this practice and you are laying on your mat and letting the wave of sound wash over you.
We work in a very intuitive, intimate and gentle way. Very respectful of the participants present and the collective energy that is produced is amazing.
The practice is from 3-5pm on the 3rd Sunday of the month and booking ahead is necessary as space is limited.
